My
interests lie broadly in the areas of solid mechanics and materials modeling. I
received my Ph.D. in theoretical and applied mechanics from Cornell University, working on atomistic-continuum modeling of carbon nanotubes, and my
bachelor's degree in naval architecture and ocean engineering from the Indian
Institute of Technology, Madras.
My current work involves defect physics in composites, nonlinear creep-fatigue
interaction in crack growth, and service life assessment methods. Please follow
